UV Defender Sunscreen

DermaShield is a broad-spectrum SPF 50++ facial sunscreen combining advanced organic and mineral UV filters. It uses a hybrid system: photostable chemical filters (Tinosorb S, Uvinul T150, Uvinul A Plus) plus non-nano zinc oxide. This provides high, long-lasting UVA (including long-wave UVA1) and UVB protection. Broad-spectrum SPF50 helps prevent UV-induced erythema, photoaging, and skin cancer, while the hybrid formula maximizes photostability (minimizing filter breakdown in sunlight).

KEY INGREDIENTS:

• Tinosorb® S (Bemotrizinol): A photostable organic UV absorber covering UVB and UVA2/UVA1.
• Uvinul® A Plus (Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate): A high-performance UVA1 filter for long-wave protection.
• Uvinul® T150 (Ethylhexyl Triazone): A potent UVB filter and SPF booster.
• Zinc Oxide (non-nano): A physical/mineral blocker covering UVB, UVA2, and UVA1. It is photostable, provides broad coverage, and has excellent skin safety (minimal systemic absorption).
• Centella Asiatica Extract: Soothing botanical extract rich in asiaticosides. It helps hydrate and calm skin, strengthens the barrier, and reduces redness and inflammation.
• D-Panthenol (Pro-Vitamin B5): Humectant and anti-inflammatory agent that supports skin repair.
• Allantoin: Soothing, keratolytic agent that calms irritation.
• Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice: Hydrating and soothing botanical extract.
• Tocopherol (Vitamin E): Antioxidant that neutralizes free radicals.

FORMULATION VARIANTS (SKIN TYPES):

• Normal Skin Formula: Medium-weight emulsion with emollients (squalane, isoamyl laurate, caprylic/capric triglyceride) for a smooth, non-greasy feel. Contains 2% Centella and 1% D-Panthenol for barrier support. Ideal for normal or dry skin.
• Oily/Acne-Prone (Matte) Formula: Lightweight, fast-absorbing emulsion with silica (1%) and reduced oily esters. Includes higher soothing humectants (Centella 3%, Panthenol 3%) and identical UV filters. Provides a shine-free matte finish without clogging pores, suited for oily or acne-prone skin.
